Jazz & blues drummer Chris Massey has been performing on the American and European creative music scenes for many years and has developed into a powerful, creative voice combining jazz tradition and improvisation focused into a muscular drum poetry. He has performed and/or recorded with Bill Frisell; poet Robert Creeley, Steve Swallow and John Mills in Trio Courage; David Torn in Forever Sharp and Vivid; Raoul Bjorkenheim, Michael Gibbs, Kermit Driscoll, Hans Koch, amog many, many others.  He currently lives in Switzerland.
